September 18th, 2020 CertainTeed Gypsum is announcing a price increase effective on all shipments starting October 16th, 2020. The price of our products will be increased by the following amount and includes all brands of CertainTeed, Continental and Finish Line: ALL WALLBOARD PRODUCTS 12% ALL COMPOUND, POWDERS AND TEXTURES 5% In response to your requests to provide price information for the remainder of 2020 and into 2021, this is to advise you that CertainTeed Gypsum anticipates further cost increases during the remainder of 2020 and its impact on all materials will result in a subsequent increase coming out later this year or early next year. It is important to note on the future wallboard increase that product increase dollar amounts will vary.
