The steel market continues to tighten, and the availability of steel in June is even tighter and more costly than expected. We are taking measures to ensure we can meet all of our obligations, and today, more than ever, that comes at a higher cost. We must revise our June 1 price increase to 15%. There will also be another increase in the amount of 10% effective on July 1. All job quotes will include escalators in the same amount effective immediately.

Effective with all shipments on or after May 24, 2021, CertainTeed Architectural will increase the list price on all panel products (excluding Specialties, but including Ecophon and Gyptone) up to 9%. CertainTeed will implement a price increase with all shipments effective June 1, 2021. Orders to be delivered prior to the increase date must be received by May 17, 2021. The shipping date of such orders will be agreed upon between CertainTeed and each customer and could extend as far as May 31, 2021.
