Effective with shipments on and after Monday, June 7, 2021, National Gypsum Company, the exclusive service provider of reliable, high-performance building products manufactured by its affiliate companies and marketed under the Gold Bond®, ProForm®, and PermaBASE® brands, will increase prices on the listed products as follows:
CertainTeed Gypsum is announcing a wallboard price increase effective on all shipments
starting on June 7th, 2021. This announcement is for all regions in the U.S. The price of our
products will increase by the following amount:
U.S. CertainTeed Architectural (Ceilings) Customers
Effective with shipments on and after Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, USG will increase its prices
on all wallboard, glass-mat, tile backer, interior finishing, and bead and trim products.
ClarkDietrich will implement a minimum price increase of 10% on all products for all markets effective July 1st, 2021
The steel market continues to tighten, and the availability of steel in June is even tighter and more costly than expected. We are taking measures to ensure we can meet all of our obligations, and today, more than ever, that comes at a higher cost. We must revise our June 1 price increase to 15%. There will also be another increase in the amount of 10% effective on July 1. All job quotes will include escalators in the same amount effective immediately.
Effective Monday, June 7, 2021, Armstrong Architectural Specialties will implement a price increase on list price items up to 10% for all Metal-based products, including MetalWorks, Suspension, Hanging Kits, Trim, Clips, and other Metal Accessories.
Effective with all shipments on or after May 24, 2021, CertainTeed Architectural will increase the list price on all panel products (excluding Specialties, but including Ecophon and Gyptone) up to 9%. This price increase is the result of broad inflationary pressure in raw materials, energy and operating costs.
Effective Monday, June 7th, 2021, USG will increase prices on the following products: • All Commercial and Retail Suspension Systems in the US will increase by up to 10% (including drywall suspension systems) • All USG Specialty Ceilings Suspension Systems in the US will increase by up to 10% (Includes USG & USG Ceilings Plus) Grid shipments will be managed as necessary to ensure equitable distribution.
